How Gen Z consumers and the ‘trust economy’ are changing the mall experience
Over the last 3 years, 1,046 acknowledged Companies of Good have actually jointly contributed close to $384 million in amount contributions, greater than $85 million in donations in-kind, and over 1.1 million volunteer hours.
Small and medium-sized enterprises accounted for the large number of recipients, composing 376 organisations, or 78% of the total.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong governed the event, presenting the Champion of Good grants, while Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling offered the Firm of Good– 3 Hearts awards.
The statement was made at NVPC’s Business of Good Conference and Conferment held on July 20 at Fairmont Singapore, which saw approximately 700 business leaders gathered up.
This year’s associate consists of 177 Business of Good– 1 Heart receivers, among them Colliers, Fraxtor, Craig Road Property, Ngee Koon, and Momentus Resort Alexandra.
On the other hand, 63 companies were conferred the Champion of Good award– the top tier of the acknowledgment system– including Kuok (Singapore), Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management, Mapletree Investments and TS Group.
“As we look ahead, NVPC will focus on strengthening the community of Firms of Good and enabling organisations to learn from one another, collaborate across companies and industries and produce influence with each other,” includes Soh.
“10 years on, Company of Good has definitely shown that Company Objective is progressively emerging as an important part of how organisations develop worth for their stakeholders and the broader society,” says Tony Soh, CEO, NVPC.
An additional 113 business received the Firm of Good– 3 Hearts recognition, including 8M Real Estate, Banyan Tree Holdings, Far East Orchard, OUE REIT Management and Savills (Singapore).
An overall of 481 companies were recognised as Firms of Good by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) this year, as the effort marked its 10th anniversary. The acknowledgment honours companies that produce favorable social effect in Singapore.
