Samty sells two investment pools of Japan multifamily assets worth JPY49 bil

Japanese developer Samty Holdings has recently publicized the sale of two assets pools of multifamily properties created and managed by the firm. In a Sept 2 launch, Samty says the assets were marketed to worldwide sovereign wealth finance. Samty will stay as the top asset supervisor of both investment pools.

According to Yasuhiro Ogawa, president and chief executive officer of Samty Holdings, the sale of the two investment pools mirrors investors’ recognition of opportunities occurring from the company’s transformation into a financial investment system.

Hillhouse manages Samty alongside Daiwa Securities, Samty’s previously biggest shareholder, which maintained its shares in the business according to the buyout.
